Hi,

I'm Raymond Briars, and this is my personal website, where I hope to share some of my creative exploits. The site name 'romeobravo' is just my initals, RB, and is intentionally vague. By profession, I have worked in electronics design, and embedded software development, which has at times been a very stimulating line of work. I have had many employers, some good, and others less so, and I have stared at a lot of computer screens.

There is another side to me, though. I am an artist, and a musician. These are the areas of interest that I would like to showcase here. Never mind qualifications, grades, or letters after your name, I'm happy to be judged on what I produce. Everything I've ever done well, could be picked up on the job. What competency I've achieved in art, has been done by believing in myself, and simply putting one foot in front of the other.

Whenever I create something, a drawing, or an electronic circuit, it starts as a fragile framework, and gradually gains strength, as I put work into each part of it. It is the same with music. Knock me down if you wish, but I'll just think back to the zero encouragement I got from school teachers, and how I put one foot in front of the other by myself.
